Payroll Association has been created in the Upstate of South Carolina.  The chapter will serve the areas of Greenville, Spartanburg, and Anderson as well as the other surrounding counties and cities.

    The chapter got its start when a small group of payroll professionals decided it was time to provide continuing education and networking opportunities for payroll and human resource professionals in the area.        Areas of responsibility include all payroll tax filings, including Federal, State and Local for PEO, multi-entity and multi-state clients.
        Minimum Requirements:

      • 2 years of multi-entity, multi-state tax filing experience
      • 3 years of experience in accounting, payroll or related field, Master Tax Experience a plus, Preferred: High School Diploma with Accounting Education

       Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Finance Department.  This position oversees implements and maintains workflow, accounting systems, procedures and policies for the company. 

       Minimum Requirements:  
      Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, business, or a related field

      • Minimum of 10+ years’ (hands-on) mid-sized company financial and management experience including the day-to-day operation of an organization

      Job Summary

      Performs a wide variety of payroll processing activities and record keeping to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the bi-weekly payroll. Proficient in working in Payroll and Time and Attendance software systems including editing functions.  Provides guidance, direction and education to managers, timekeepers and employees in payroll related matters. 

       Minimum Education

       Associate's Degree - Accounting, Business Administration or closely related field.

       5 years - Payroll experience

      Job Duties and Responsibilities

      • Researches and prepares special reports for management and other personnel
      • Performs calculation of monthly bonus using computerized systems and manual spreadsheets
      • Tests computer systems and upgrades to ensure payroll is processed correctly
      • Review timecards for accuracy for assigned territory
      • Run GL and prepare journal entries for any necessary branch expense changes
      • Trains other payroll personnel
      • Prompt and regular attendance is required

      HCM Specialist (Human Capital Management)

      Primary Position Summary: Performance Payroll is looking for a professional to handle our clients in a fun, fast paced, dynamic environment. The HCM Specialist will normally handle a portfolio of clients, assisting with questions relating to their payroll, tax and HR services
      Key Result Areas:
