    The chapter got its start when a small group of payroll professionals decided it was time to provide continuing education and networking opportunities for payroll and human resource professionals in the area. In the future the group hopes to offer study groups for those who would like to sit for the CPP and FPC exams as well as get involved in the community.

                                         Payroll Manager Greenville, SC

         Manufacturer seeking Payroll Manager to manage payroll system in compliance with company policies and various Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations.

         Responsibilities Include:

         

        To manage payroll system in compliance with company policies and various state and federal laws and regulations. o Analyze, prepare and input payroll bi-weekly for all associates.

        Responsibilities Include:
        To manage payroll system in compliance with company policies and various state and federal laws and regulations:
        Analyze, prepare and input payroll bi-weekly for all associates.
        Maintain current knowledge of applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.
        Maintain associate payroll deductions to reflect current W-4 elections, changes garnishments, etc.
        Audit and maintain proper department coding of employees for allocation of payroll dollars.
        Work with HR technicians to pull and reconcile time clock data and assure that time clock date imported into the payroll system balances with the original data file. 
        Coordinate payment of staffing agencies
        Manage direct deposits
        New Hires reporting
        Print and distribute check stubs to all locations
        Coordinate wage garnishment requirements with vendor.
        Generate, audit and transmit quarterly tax files to Company tax filing service.
        Generate and distribute associates annual W-2's.
        Process payroll export file for general ledger.       

        To manage company vehicle fleet with respect to leasing, fuel, repairs, and coordination of replacement:
        Maintain records on all fleet vehicles.
        Serve as the point of contact with fleet vendor for ordering and return of lease fleet vehicles.
        Facilitate payment of leases on vehicles.
        Coordinate maintenance of fleet vehicles.
        Review and audit gas purchases for fleet vehicles.  Process payment of fleet gas card invoices.
        Process payment of property taxes on fleet vehicles.
        Assure fleet vendor maintains current registrations, tags, and insurance information for all fleet vehicles.

        Requirements:
        Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources or other related field.
        3-5 years of experience as a Payroll Manager or Payroll Clerk for large manufacturer.
        Manufacturing industry experience is a requirement.
        Proficiency with Microsoft Products - including high proficiency with Excel.
        Proficiency with Enterprise level payroll and time management systems.
        Familiarity with the structure of ERP systems is a plus.
        Use of other non-specific and company specific databases and software packages are also required.
        Must have high attention to detail and highly value precision in their work.
        Good communication and analytical skills.

      • Prepares and distributes payroll reports/exports/funding, runs GL reports at month end, and calls in NACHA file to bank if Payroll Manager and Lead Payroll Administrator are unavailable.

      • Performs calculation of monthly bonus using computerized systems and manual spreadsheets
      • Tests computer systems and upgrades to ensure payroll is processed correctly
      • Review timecards for accuracy for assigned territory

      HCM Specialist (Human Capital Management)

      Primary Position Summary: Performance Payroll is looking for a professional to handle our clients in a fun, fast paced, dynamic environment. The HCM Specialist will normally handle a portfolio of clients, assisting with questions relating to their payroll, tax and HR services
      Key Result Areas:
      Specialist must be comfortable and proactive in reaching out to clients via phone and
      email to resolve payroll and tax issues. (If you are paralyzed by a ringing phone this may not be the job for you.)
      Representative must demonstrate ability to respond to client questions in a timely
      manner.
