Welcome to the Upstate SC APA!

Chapter #153 of the American Payroll Association has been created in the Upstate of South Carolina.  The chapter will serve the areas of Greenville, Spartanburg, and Anderson as well as the other surrounding counties and cities.

Congratulations to all of the members of the Upstate SCAPA chapter who took and passed either the CPP or FPC exam during the Fall 2012 testing window!

(That's 10 members who have passed the CPP or FPC since the Upstate chapter started in early 2011!)

Keep an eye out for information regarding the spring 2013 study group.

The chapter got its start when a small group of payroll professionals decided it was time to provide continuing education and networking opportunities for payroll and human resource professionals in the area.

In the future the group hopes to offer study groups for those who would like to sit for the CPP and FPC exams as well as get involved in community initiatives.

The goals of the group are as follows:

• Offer RCH’s for CPP and FPC’s (the two designations that are offered by the American Payroll Association)

• Provide on-going timely education on topics important to payroll professionals

• Provide education about payroll to the community

• Provide networking opportunities.
